Dear Customer

I’m sure you’ve been inundated with emails from all the people and artists you follow or lists you’ve subscribed to about the new Data Protection Regulations that are due to come into force later this month. I’ve had loads myself.

I do hold your E mail addresses and occasionally your phone number for the time it takes to complete your portrait or painting. I do keep a record of every painting I complete but only store the first name or names of the subject and date of completion against a photograph of the completed commission.

No other information is held – no purchasing habits, political views, medical records or anything else. Nothing!

The information will never be sold or passed to anyone else for any other purpose.

At portraitsbyjulie.co.uk, your privacy is our priority. We are committed to protecting your details at all times, in all situations. The information we collect about you when you become a customer is used to process your orders and to provide a more personalized experience on our site.

Any information sent to us is encrypted (scrambled) using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is industry standard encryption technology that protects your data whilst being sent over the internet from being intercepted and misused by third parties. When it reaches us, we then store it on a secure server so that it can only be read by authorised personnel.
